My computer has been a work in progress over the past two years.  I originally bought a cheap eMachine two years ago and have slowly but surely upgraded away the machine.  I have no idea what the specs of that machine were but here are my current specs:

I spent a grand total of about $390 (added 40 because of the worthless video card dying 8 months into it) to buy everything and put it all together.  The two most expensive items being the $100 hard drive and the $100 K7S8X Motherboard/Processor Combo.  Most of my computer was bought via pricewatch.  I bought by motherboard/processor from ezbpc off of eBay a couple months before they went bankrupt.  Looks like I was one of the last lucky ones to get a good system.  You can view pictures below.

I just recently purchased a 5 port switch off acortech.com for $13.  Not that I really needed the switch but occasionally I do and you can never have too many parts laying around (I'll post a picture of my excess parts sometime if I ever round them all up and get a picture).
